About IMG-Dogus:
- IMG Worldwide is a global sports, fashion and media business operating in more than 30 countries around the globe.
- Founded in 2013, IMG-Dogus joint venture manages major entertainment, sports and fashion events in Turkey and the Turkic Republics.
- The JV includes a partnership agreement with Besiktas Football Investments Co. Inc. IMG-Dogus will also oversee the sale of all sponsosrship, commercial rights for the Club and develop a business plan for their new stadium.
- The fashion department of the company oversees staging, respresenting, managing, owning and selling fashion related events, as well as representing fashion figures.
Ahmet Raif Unuvar – Background Info:
- Graduated from the prestigious Galatasaray High School in 1983 and earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara
- Obtained a master degree in Finance from Marmara University in Istanbul in 1990
- Was responsible for planning and execution of M&A’s in Bank Indosuez Generale Euro Turk between 1990-1994
- Founded Bender Menkul Degerler in 1994, which was bought by Deutsche Bank in 2005
- Served as the Chairman of the Board & CEO at Deutsche Securities between 2005-2012
- Was a board member at Galatasaray Sports Club between 2002-2006 and served as a UEFA Club Representative for seven years
